Digital strategies in corporations: This year, „Solutions“ congress in Hamburg is asking about digital strategies – Join me on the panel!

Back to normal – at least a first step towards it.

The „Solutions“ congress will take place in Hamburg on September 2nd and 3rd, and compared to the previous months and the exclusively virtual events, the congress will be held in a hybrid version. This means: We can again talk and discuss face to face, but at the same time you can also attend the entire event online.

In addition to the exciting online and offline integration of the event, two other events are merging this year. Because the „Solutions“ is collaborating with the IT-leader congress (DILK).
Together, the two topics will almost exactly coincide, which is where we at doubleYUU are heading. For that reason alone, I am delighted to be sitting on a panel this time.

On Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. CEST, I will be discussing the question “Digital strategies in corporations – catalysts or brake pads?” with Kathrin Haug from, ECE CIO Roger Nolting and Christian Pfromm, CDO of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, among others.

The panel will look at the influence of Covid-19 on digital strategies and try to figure out whether the pandemic is now accelerating the digital transformation or whether it is rather hindering the digital transformation and the corresponding investments.

There certainly is no one correct answer to this question. The world is too complex for that. But: I am convinced that the answer to the question depends above all on how the digital strategy is implemented.
The people in the company make the difference. They need it to fill strategies – in the literal sense of the word – with life.

So how can we involve people? Develop their potential? How do we succeed in times of remote working, when many people still spend more time at home instead of in the office together?
OKRs can be part of the answer to this question.

Of course, I’m not going to tell you exactly how this works. That’s what the „Solutions“ is for.
